Sending Warm Fuzzies!

Happy Sunday!
I'm just making a quick post before I fall into bed (after working the night shift).
This is my card for the My Favorite Things sketch # 58.
I had a rough time with this one. I changed my paper three times and colored her yarn ball twice.
Do you ever have those days? LOL!~
I used the super cute ALM Knit Happens.

Thanks for stopping by and God Bless...

There's No Bunny Like You!

Happy Saturday!
Another CRAZY week at my house. I worked an extra night at work
and the next day we had plumbers coming to put in our master bathroom's shower (we are remodeling the master bathroom, yeah!).
I decided the best place to sleep was in the basement in our teenage son's bedroom.
Well, it was the worst place...the water shut off valve is in the connecting room and my husband and the workers were talking so loud you would think they were all hard of hearing, LOL!
AND...I think every pipe they were working on ran down the walls around the bed I was sleeping on.
SO, I got very little sleep. But, the shower looks FABULOUS! I guess it was was worth the sacrifice of peaceful sleep.

This is my card for Valentine Blog Hop for The Cat's Pajamas.
I love these little bunnies! This one is Skating Bunny.
He's so adorable with his skates and scarf.

Heart Trio

It's hard to tell in the picture but I used shimmer white cs (SU) for the heart he's skating on and the circle the sentiment is stamped on. I used flower soft, ivory, for his tail. The skate's and scarf are paper pieced.
And Mr. Bun is colored with copics. I added the bitty buttons (SU) to the top right corner. LOVE THESE!
And I added lots of stitching.

Thanks for stopping by and God bless...

Wish!

Happy Tuesday!
This is my card for TCP Tuesday. It was an awesome sketch by the fabulously talented Leigh.

I inked up A Girl And Her Cake for this card. Isn't she the cutest? She's colored with copics and then I added some Martha Stewart turquoise glitter to the frosting for a little sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by and God Bless....

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Sunday! It was a beautiful sunny day today, which is very unusual for Ohio in the winter.
We ordered in for lunch and the worker kept asking me if it was for now or later. I could not for the life of me figure out why we would want our order later...until my husband mentioned the Super Bowl was today.
Hehe! Can you tell I'm not very big into NFL football? Well, on to business...

This is my card for the CPS 5th Anniversary Day 8 sketch:

I used Take Off from The Cat's Pajamas.
I paper pieced the hot air balloon and the basket. For the basket I used the Paper Studio crinkle brown paper. And colored Mr. Bun with copics. I roughed up the edges of the paper and used some vintage photo distress ink. And then stitched all the layers together. The clouds are made with the MFT cloud trio die-namic using felt and then they are zigzag stitched together. I added a couple buttons in the lower corner.

This is the sketch.

And while stamping I was enjoying the perfect cup of tea. I bought a new flavor cranberry pomegranate.
Very yummy! And isn't my Fiesta ware pretty?

Thanks for stopping by and God bless....

You Have My Heart

Well, here I am again after a three month break. I started back to work part-time on night shift,  my husband started a new job, and we retired from being foster parents. Needless to say, there have been a few new adjustments at our house. So, now that things have regulated....I now have more time for doing the MFT sketches again. Oh, how I have missed it. That being said...Here is my take on the My Favorite Things sketch #57.

I used the very cute, Love You With All My Heart, Pure Innocence stamp.

I am also using this card for the MFT February guest designer contest, Stamp Your Heart Out. You can check out all the details HERE. The small hearts are stamped using the First Class Friend stamp set and then cut out using the heart from the Notched Tag die-namic.

I paper pieced her dress and the heart with scrap Simple Stories DP and she is colored with copics.
I layered her on the First Class Friends die-namic. Love this die and stamp set...there is so much you can do with it.

Here is the inside. The sentiment is also from the First Class Friend set.

My 10 year old daughter, Emma made this and asked me to post it.
She loves making cards.
