Happy Saturday!
Yeah! It's the weekend and My Favorite Things is in the middle of their Teasers. It's my favorite time of the month. And the MFT design team has been putting out incredible projects. Be sure to check it out!
I did some baking with my kid's today. And I found the perfect recipe for it. There are three major steps and I had three of my five kiddos helping today, so each one got a turn and there was no arguing (Mom's favorite part). We made Peppermint Fudge Cupcake Jars to go in my MFT guest designer project this month. It was lots of fun. Well, on to my basket of goodies...
I decorated a basket with the simply scallop medium die-namic and let it snowflake die-namic.
I kept it simple because there is so much going on inside the basket.
These are the Peppermint Fudge Cupcake Jars. You bake them right in the jar. The link for the recipe is above. And I'm sure you will find lots of other yummy things on their blog. I added some hemp and a notched tag with a button and a heart.
On the top of the lid. I added another let it snowflake and a jumbo sized button.
This is what it looks like with the lid off. YUM!
(those are peppermint pieces on top of the frosting)
I made a candle wrapper using the ALM Candy Cane Kisses. She's so cute and just perfect for my peppermint theme.
For my focal piece I used the four point frame die-namic and used distress ink around the edges. I added a jumbo button and another let it snowflake with a brad in the center. The wrap part was zig zag stitched at the top.
I filled a bucket with green and red peppermints. The sentiment is perfect for this bucket of yummies.
The band is attached with hemp in the back (tied in a cute bow) and stitched to match the candle wrap.
This is the view of the top.
Here's the matching card. I used this week's MFT sketch #39 for my card.
Thanks for stopping by and God bless...
