Tiddly Inks Challenge

Here I am, again. I can't believe I'm actually posting twice in one day. This is my card for the tiddly inks challenge. The challenge is to create an all white card. The only thing allowed to have color is your image. This was hard for me. I am all about color! So I tried to make up for lack of color with textures.
This adorable kitty is called Wild Thing. I colored him with copics and cut him out with my circle nestie. I layered him on white felt which was cut out with a big scalloped circle nestie. I sewed around my embossed polka dot layer and also sewed the sentiment on. I added crystal stickers to the corners for some bling.

I

Abracadabra!

Well, it has been a wonderous Wednesday...full of lots of snow and cold weather. Which means I have been snug in my house, hiding out in my craft room. *grin*

My brother loves anything Harry Potter so when I saw mister cutey putootey here from Bugaboo stamps I had to make something for him.  I printed Har Repotter chosen one *giggle*  on white cs, colored him with my copics, and cut him out with a label nestie. I used crystal lacquer on his glasses. He is so stinkin' cute!
The DP is the thrift shop from October Afternoon (love this paper pack). I used the open scallop border die-namic from MFT and a couple big brads to finish it off. The sentiment is a computer font and the little "magic" around it is a retired incentive stamp from SU.

This is the inside... I used a provocraft argyle embossing folder on riding hood red cs. The border is the jumbo scallop die-namic and I added little metal stickers. The sentiment is also a computer font. I hope you like it.

We are currently being buried in snow from our latest snow storm. The weatherman said we are to expect an inch an hour. So, I here I am snug in the craft room having some mama fun.

This is my card for the Bellarific Friday sketch challenge. Isn't Presley Lollipop just the cutest?
I love her bunny slippers. I stamped her on very vanilla and colored her with copics. I paper pieced her nightie and her bunny.  Of course, I had to stitch all my layers. This valentine DP Love Struck from Making Memories is just fabulous. The corner triangle is su melon mambo and I embossed it with my provo craft polka dot folder. The sentiment is the one that came with Presley. I finished it all off with twill tape and a cute little heart pin.

So Thankful For You!

This is Swiss Miss Rosalie. Isn't she darling? She is a DIGI from c.c. designs.
I wanted to try Jen Del Muro's SFYTT so, I stamped her on white cs with memento
tuxedo black and colored her with my copic markers.  This adorable lollipop
DP called cupcake love was used for my color palette. The little nailheads were
used for the fastener on her shoes. My daughter's loved that! *giggle*
I stitched around all the layers...I just can't seem to help it. My cards look
naked without stitches. The scalloped edges are from my SU scallop punch.
I finished it off with a clear button with a lollipop tied on.

I used the fabulously adorable a'la modes "What's Cooking".  I just love her. Doesn't she make you want to bake something yummy?  I stamped her on very vanilla cs and colored her with copics. I paper pieced her bowl and apron.  The DP is So delish spice rack by TPC studio and Savor little yellow bicycle. Isn't this wire whisk the cutest thing ever? I found it at the craft store in the doll house stuff. I tied it on the button with bakers twine and zig zag stitched around all the layers.

2011 It's a Banner Year! Challenge

I'm so excited about all the teasers and prizes on MFT. I have had so much fun visiting all the DT blogs and seeing all their fabulous creations. Be sure to check all the exciting things going on this week on Kim's Blog.

This is my card for the It's a Banner Year! Challenge. I made my card using the oh so cute a'la modes "Take Time".  She is just darling!
I stamped her on SU very vanilla with Memento Tuxedo Black  and colored her with copics. Her trousers are cut out of Melon Mambo and I added diamond stickles to her shirt for some bling.  The clock was cut out of scrap Websters pages Life Portrait and crystal laquer for the clock face.

I have ordered the die-namic banner strip die with my Christmas gift card from my hubby but it hasn't come in yet...*sniff, sniff* So I made my own....

The DP I used was Lush Black Floral by My Mind's Eye and Life Portrait by Websters Pages. Love it!  I wanted music notes so I used my SU music note wheel on very vanilla. The ribbon is 1/2" very vanilla seam binding.

This is the inside... I stamped her again but didn't color her in. I love how this looks. I used the die-namic jumbo scallop die and added some twinkle. The sentiment was done on my computer.
